Info An apricot Mandarin duckling (Aix galericulata). The coloring is the result of a rare mutation. Mandarin ducks are, of course, quite striking in their typical plumage so I don't know if the rarity of a more drab version will elicit "wow" in others like it did in me. :) You can see this bird with its more typical siblings in these two photos. — Rhododendrites ^talk | 14:50, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
